What works in San Francisco doesn't translate
Most localization work stops at swapping copy and resizing buttons. On Adobe Express's International PLG team, I treated Japan as a market that needed its own strategy — not a translated version of a US roadmap. That meant building the research and business case to get systemic issues fixed at the platform level, and finding the segment-level truth a flat aggregate metric was hiding.
I go deep on Japan. I can also operate strategically across markets I don't speak — art directing culturalized content and bridging Express's content team with a design agency across Germany, France, India, and Brazil.

The topline metric said flat. The segment data said something else entirely.
